Kairuru Perendale x Merino DK from sheep farmed on the Takaka Hill. Kairuru runs up to 2000 perendale breeding ewes. The fleeces we select for making our yarn are ideally 28 – 32 micron. The resulting yarn is hard wearing but lofty and light at the same time.
