Felted soap is a natural exfoliant and washbar all in one. The process of felting causes the wool to shrink tightly around the soap. The felt will remain attached for the life of the soap and continue to shrink along with the soap as you use. As you lather the soap, the wool remains tight around the soap making the soap bar last longer.
